Near 5 Cecil Pashley Way, Shoreham by Sea, BN43 5FF

West Sussex - Marine Ward

Description

A section of this coarse gravel footpath around 50 yards long, just at the lower end of the ramped section with handrail, has been regularly flooded with 3+ inches of water for most of the time since October 2019.
I realise this is a duplicate report but I wanted to add weight to the case. Many people use this path to get to/from the airport and embankment path, and without wellington boots, the path is impassable (without very wet feet). The ground around it is extremely wet and muddy (but is the only alternative) and as well as getting covered in mud splashes, presents a slipping/falling risk because the part near the handrail section is steeply banked.

Given this path was only finished a year ago, I am disappointed the path does not drain away at all -- only a sunny day helps (before it rains again). I would hope drainage could be arranged. image 1

we booked collection from newham.gov website ENQ3617388 bulky waste collection for the first time since 2016.

the collection team kept complaining they don't have acess to our house because the cars are in the way and recommended we moved the items to a location easier to collect from.

now they still aren't collecting its getting ridiculous because our neighbour we left the items next to is getting warning letters.

we been waiting patiently since 19th of July.

please can you help? image 1-196 Lonsdale Avenue, East Ham, E6 3PP
