West Sussex -

Description

At the turning heads at the end of Hurstwood Lane the banking behind them is supported by vertical wooden stakes about 1 metre high. These stakes are beginning to fall away exposing the banked earth behind them. I have replaced several stakes, but there are so many loose and beginning to come away that it needs some fundamental work done to support the banking and hedging above it. It would appear that the stakes are not an appropriate method of supporting the banking and that sleepers would be a better option. I am willing to contribute to the cost of this, but cannot bear it all on my own. I attach photos below to illustrate the issue. I would be grateful if someone would contact me to discuss this issue and when and how it can be dealt with before the banking collapses and it becomes a much bigger issue. image 2
