These trees, adjacent to Wavel Mews, are overgrown and are located in Priory Park behind the Petanque (bowling green) Pavilion and children's playground. They were last pollarded over twenty years ago and since then have grown to a massive height and density. They all but obscure the sunlight to those houses in Wavel Mews adjacent to the park. The view of the park from the upper floors of Wavel Mews houses are now totally obscured. The tree root systems must now be close to some of these houses (including mine) and there is a danger that they might cause structural damage. Please investigate with a view to reducing their height and removing unwanted trees in this area. Please consider maintaining these trees on a regular four year cycle.
